William Roberts Obituary

Published by Legacy on Mar. 26, 2026.
William, "Will", passed away March 24, 2026 at the age of 69. Beloved husband of over 40 years to Annette (nee Adamietz). Dear brother of Jane (Tom) Brown, Rosemary Adamietz, Joe (Ann) Adamietz, and the late John Jr.. Son-in-law of Elaine Adamietz. Will was predeceased by his loving parents John Sr. and Jane Robson and is survived by his many adoring nieces and nephews.

Will was a man of vibrant spirit and unwavering passion, particularly when it came to his beloved Philadelphia Eagles. A true fan, he watched every game with gusto, he was often heard cheering or debating the plays from his living room. His collection of Eagles gear was extensive, a testament to his devotion to the team.

Will also enjoyed following the Philadelphia Phillies and all genres of music, especially the band Yes, sharing many memorable moments with friends and family.

A proud graduate of Olney High School, Will cherished the friendships he gained during those years. Known for his lively personality, he was often the life of the party, bringing joy and laughter to all who knew him. He also possessed a calming presence, frequently stepping in as a peacemaker or caretaker when situations required it. When Annette required his care, he stepped in with love and compassion. Meeting as teens, their personalities complemented one another and their marriage was a true balance of give and take.

Among his nieces and nephews, he was affectionately known as the "fun uncle," always ready with a joke or a game, creating cherished memories that they will remember fondly. He will also be missed by "Roxy" and "Pebbles".

Will leaves behind a legacy of warmth, humor, and kindness that touched the lives of many. He will be deeply missed and forever remembered by those fortunate enough to have known him.

Contributions in Will's memory may be made to PA SPCA.
