William (Bill) Arthur Roe of Bowie, MD, was born to Arthur and Constance Roe, December 28, 1948. Bill passed peacefully January 5, 2026. He is survived by his soulmate Elizabeth (Betty) Ann. He is also survived by his children Jessica Owens (Michael), Christopher Roe (Uta) and his five grandchildren Chris, William, Micky, Aidan and Effi. And his siblings, Janet Gardiner, Jeri Roe, Jeannie Bobick and Rhett Roe plus many nieces, nephews, and grandnieces and grandnephews.
In lieu of flowers his favorite charity was The Bowie Interfaith Pantry and Emergency Fund. I am sure Bill would appreciate a donation going to any food pantry if you prefer to donate in your local area.
His Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, January 17, @2:00-4:00 pm, at Beall Funeral Home, 6512 Crain Hwy (Rt. 3 South) in Bowie, MD. If you can attend please feel free to bring your best Bill Roe story to share with us.
Bill will be remembered for his quiet (and sometimes not so quiet) strength, his quick wit and sense of humor, and the unwavering love for his family.
