William Rogers Obituary
William L. "Bill" Rogers of Bellevue, Nebraska, was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on July 28, 1930, and passed away on January 26, 2025.
Bill was preceded in heaven by his wife, Alverta Rogers; sons, Michael Rogers and Larry Rogers; and daughter, Ginger Rogers.
He is survived by his daughters, Terry Rogers-Womack and Shirley Rogers; daughters-in-law, Dawn Rogers and Sharon Rogers; grandchildren, Jason Rogers, William "Monty" Rogers, Taylor Rogers, Nathan Rogers, Courtney Farmer, Jordan Farmer, Chanel Owens; and great-grandchildren, Olivia Rogers, Kai Owens, Catalina Bonardi, Penelope Rogers, Violet Owens, and Lean Beck.
Graveside Service: Saturday, February 1st, 10:00 a.m., Bellevue Cemetery, 1303 Lord Boulevard, Bellevue, NE.
Military Honors: Offutt Air Force Base Honor Guard

the Roger's family whom we first met at Southside Assembly of God back in the 80's. We have many fond memories of them. They were such kind, faithful & loving couple. We have never forgotten them even though our paths have not crossed on many years.

I met Bill and Alverta Rogers at Southside Assembly of God church, though now it's called Spirit Life Church.
May God wrap you all in his comfort as you grieve the passing of your father and the passing of Ginger so close together.

I met Mr. Rogers in the mid 1980s. Our son, Jeff, went to Sunshine Tree Day Care where we met Mr. and Mrs. Rogers at that time. What a ""Blessing" they were to so many. I will forever remember their kindness, love, and smile!

I first met Bill a number of years ago at the Genesis Health Club where we would meet daily during the early morning hours. What a joy...what a gentleman. In respect to each other's veterans credentials we would salute the standard military greeting. Bill and I would meet for lunch on occasion and share war stories and just enjoy each others company. Eternal rest grant him O Lord and let the perpetual light shine upon him, may he rest in peace ...you deserve it my friend.
