Had the pleasure to work with Bill at Gehl Foods. He was one of the smartest men I ever met. Although he was way to humble to ever make you feel that he was smarter than anyone else. His monthly visits were definitely something we all looked forward to. Great stories, Great teacher.. God Speed

Wow! What a great guy. I worked with Bill for years at O-I/Rexam and crewed (I use that term loosely) for the Race for MS for many years. He was smart, kind, funny, and most importantly - one of the nicest guys there ever was. Always wearing a smile. He will be missed for sure. My heartfelt condolences to Helen and the entire family.

I am so sorry to hear about the death of Bill. I worked with him at Owens Illinois in research and development. He was very respected by his management and peers. Our friendship continued as neighbors at Devils Lake. My sincere sympathy for the family and may he rest in peace in the presence of our Lord God.

We are so sorry to read about Bill's death.
We were neighbors on Woodley Court, and I crewed for him on Zephyr and Sloopy.
He was, indeed, always knowledgeable, methodical and always the voice of reason.
