William James Rowe, age 82, of Leonia, passed away on Saturday, January 31, 2026. Born in Jersey City, NJ, to the late William and Harriet (née Cooper) Rowe.
William was a proud veteran who honorably served his country as a United States Marine during the Vietnam Era. His commitment to the Corps remained a point of great pride throughout his life.William was very dedicated and hardworking in everything he did.
He was the beloved husband of Mayra (née Santana) and the loving and dedicated father to Mayra Mejia Santana. William will be remembered as a man of integrity who deeply valued his family and his service to his country.
The family will receive friends on Thursday from 4:00 - 8:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti and Kenneth Marin Funeral Home, 327 Main Street (opposite the Fort Lee Library). Burial will follow on Friday February 6th at 11:00 AM in the BG William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (Chapel), Wrightstown, NJ.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) or a charity of your choice in William’s memory.
