William R. "Bill" Clark, 83, of Independence, Missouri, passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021.
Bill was born on February 20, 1938 in Independence, Missouri, the son of Edwin and Genevieve (Rudd) Clark, the youngest of five children.
After graduating from William Chrisman High School, Bill enlisted in the Select Service and also started his career at AT&T, where he worked for 33 years before retiring, then he continued to work for the IRS for an additional 20 years.
In 1964, Bill met the love of his life and his very best friend while both participated in a bowling league; and on May 8, 1965, Bill and Carolyn O'Connell were joined in marriage. From this union came four children.

He also coached and attended countless kid's and grandkid's baseball and soccer games. Cookies, travel adventures with Carolyn and watching professional KC sports filled many of his retirement years. Always supportive, kind and compassionate, he was a positive influence to all that knew him.
