William Ted Schaus, affectionately known as Ted, passed away on September 14, 2024, at the age of 63.
Born on December 28, 1960, in Tokyo, Japan, Ted was a man with a deep love for music, particularly gospel. His talent for playing guitar and singing brought joy to those around him, especially through his heartfelt performances of gospel music. His Christian faith was central to his life, and he found great peace in sharing his love of music with others.
Ted was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Selena Schaus, and his brother Keith Schaus. He is survived by his loving wife, Nancy Schaus; his sons, Brandon Brown and Justin Walburg-Oberste; his daughter, Lindsey Walden; his brother, Rick Schaus; his sister, Elizabeth Carlise; two grandchildren and a close-knit circle of family and friends who will forever cherish his memory.
A celebration of Ted's life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are being handled by Wages and Sons Funeral Home.
Ted will be remembered for his warmth, his faith, and the beautiful music he shared with those who knew him.
