Bill insisted I attend our 50th class reunion. I am so very glad he did. We shared many a memory. My cancer returned shortly after and I became homebound. I was shocked when he became ill. He was always so full of life. Janet, when we spoke he always mentioned you. Chris, his family was paramount. I will miss him. A fellow classmate had just yesterday emailed me a picture of Bill and I in the chapel at Messmer.

To the Scherbvarth family, please accept my sincerre condolences. Bill was a friend from grade school and high school on. He was always full of life. I don't remember when there wasn't a bright smile on his face.
