William Henry Silver

William Henry Silver, a beloved son, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and great great grandfather, passed away on December 21, 2023, at the age of 88. William was born September 1, 1935 to the late Charles and Ina Silver.

William's passing leaves a void in the lives of those who loved him. In addition to his parents, he now joins his wife, Lilly Waldroup Silver; his sisters, Opal Cantrell, Eula Stacy, Mary Long, and Ruth Steelman; his brother Calvin Silver; and his granddaughter, Kelby Fritts in eternal peace.

To treasure his memory, he leaves behind Marie Baldwin (Eddie), William Silver (Kathy), Rhonda McKnight, grandchildren: Richard Mason, Nicole Baldwin, Emily Walker, Jessica Partington, Clee McKnight, and Jenna Fritts; two great grandsons, six great granddaughters, and two great great grandchildren. The memory of William Henry Silver will forever remain in the hearts of his loved ones.

There will be a time of visitation, on Tuesday, December 26 from 4-7pm at Companion Funeral Home, Cleveland Chapel. On Wednesday, December 27, the family will welcome friends at Family Worship Center in Cleveland, TN, from 12-1pm and host a Celebration of Life at 1pm. Interment will be at Conasauga Community Cemetery following the service. Pastors Samuel Steelman and Shane Calhoun will be officiating the service. Pall bearers will include Eddie Baldwin, Richard Mason, Cody Mason, Clee McKnight, Danny Godfrey, and Doug Hamby.
