I just learned of Bill's passing this weekend. To say I am sad is an understatement. Bill and I became friends when your family summers brought you to Dodson Boatyard in Stonington, CT. I work in the office at Dodson and always enjoyed our seasonal visits. Although they were always brief, we always managed to get up to date with the kids, grandkids and the prior off-season life. My daughter Harley is a launch driver at DBY. She was very fond of Bill as well. He was always asking about her college career and kept up to speed on her comings and goings. Your entire family is in our thoughts and prayers. May Bill rest in eternal peace.

Bill was a very special person. He made everyone he touched feel like they were someone special. His honesty and integrity made him a standout above all. He will never be forgotten.
