William Spaide Obituary
William Walter Spaide, 80, of Kingston, passed away Monday, Oct. 7, 2024.
Born in Wilkes-Barre, he was a son of the late William and Stella Wenner Spaide.
In addition to his parents, William was preceded in death by his wife, Margaret Gibbon Spaide; and son, Jeffery Allen Spaide.
William is survived by his son, William Spaide; daughters, Jessica and Sharon Spaide; sister, Patricia Kertes; and grandchildren, Derek, Bryonnna, Ché, Jayden and Erycea.
He will be remembered as a dedicated husband, father and grandfather. William was an avid Steelers fan and loved to watch them in his free time. He also cooked Sunday dinners and was always tending to his house. He loved to build things, do yard work, tend to his garden and most of all, spend time with his beloved family and friends. His presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
William's family would like to thank Dr. James Tricarico and staff for their compassion and care over the years.
A memorial service will be held from 3 to 4 p.m. Saturday at Kniffen O'Malley Leffler Funeral Home, 465 S Main St., Wilkes-Barre.
