William Stephens Obituary
William was born January 24, 1936, in Jackson, Ohio, the son of the late William Ervin Stephens, Sr. and Crecy Jean (Miller) Stephens.
He is survived by his nieces and nephews, Turman (Debra) Helton, Cynthia (Doug) Davis, Celia (Dick) Shell, Kenneth (Debra) Helton, Georgia Barnett, Robert (Sharon) Helton, Ruth (Louie) Gillenwater, and Marilyn (John) Williams, and special friends, Lonnie Washburn and Sherri Ackley.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and three sisters, Mary Cline, Fern Helton, and Phyllis Downard.
William was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy and retired factory worker.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Monday, March 30, 2026, at Boyer Funeral Home, Waverly, Ohio with Pastor Kevin Green. Burial will follow in Hay Hollow Cemetery, Chillicothe, Ohio. Military Honors conducted by the American Legion Post #142 Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday at Boyer Funeral Home.
