William A. "Bill" Stewart Jr.

William A. "Bill" Stewart, Jr., age 69, of Newark, DE, passed away on Saturday, January 29, 2022.

Born in Wilmington, DE on May 16, 1952, he was the son of the late William A. and Mollie E. (Dill) Stewart, Sr. Bill was a graduate of Christiana High School in 1970. He enlisted in the United States Marine Corps. in 1970. Bill was honorably discharged in June of 1972. He also graduated Summa Cum Laude from Bethany Theological Seminary in 1998.

Bill did his electrician apprenticeship with Stewart Electric for many years. He worked at Solar Power and retired from M-Cube Technologies in 2013.

In addition to his parents, Bill was preceded in death by his sister, Jeanne Herd. He is survived by his sisters, Judith Knorr and Donna Richardson (Roy).

A visitation for family and friends will be held from 12 pm until 1 pm on Thursday, February 10, 2022, at Spicer-Mullikin Funeral Home, 121 West Park Place, Newark, DE, where a memorial service will begin at 1 pm. Face coverings will be required for all those in attendance regardless of their vaccination status. Interment will be held privately.
