William Dettwiller Stroker

Bill was a wonderful colleague and mentor - he will be deeply missed. Always soft-spoken and big-hearted, Bill was generous with his time and always non-judgmental. He listened to everyone carefully and shared his advice when asked. I first met Bill in the spring of 1991 when he chaired the search committee that brought me to Drew for 27 years. A new faculty member could not ask for a better mentor or friend. Deepest condolences to Mary Ann and Katherine. I will be saying a prayer for him here in Morocco on November 9th.
