I met Bill for the very first time during the COVID pandemic. He came into Stop and Shop #811 on Rt.37 looking for an item which we did not have. When the item came in,I purchased it for him and gave it to him when I saw him next. That was the beginning of our beautiful friendship. We visited one another at each others houses (when he was still able to drive to my house) and stayed in touch by phone, in person and in the store. After my retirement we stayed in touch, however, never did get our casino trip to AC. I am so glad you were comfortable enough with our friendship to share your family stories and pictures with me. I will miss our visits and friendship greatly. I wish I was in NJ at this time to pay my respects and attend your services.I definitely will visit you each time I visit my parents at the military cemetery.
