Mr. William A. Studwell III

William Alfred Studwell III transitioned peacefully at home with his wife and sister by his side on September 23, 2024, after a courageous battle with a prolonged illness.
Mr. Studwell aUectionately called " Bubba" was born in Newport News, VA on December 31st, 1958, to William A. Studwell, Jr and Ethel Mae Studwell ( Lewis). He was educated in the Newport News Public school system and had a career as one of the best Pipe layers in the area until he retired after 38 years of demanding work. Bubba loved to have a wonderful time and always invited anyone who would listen to come over for good food, good music, and good company. He was a dedicated San Franciso 49ers fan and music lover and has passed this passion down to his children and grandchildren. Bubba enjoyed spending time with family and shared a special bond with his cousin Dameyon Studwell and best friend Lamonte Spruill.
Mr. Studwell is preceded in death by his parents, William and Ethel, brothers, George and Frank Studwell, and granddaughter, Jamara. His memories will be cherished by his beloved Wife,Deborah Studwell. 7 children, Tamika (Simeon), Damian, Danyelle ( Billy), Tanesha(Tobi), Justina, Lachele, and Jasmine. Bonus daughter Tiffany ( Richard), Bonus Sons, Arthur, Calvin, Damon (Crystal), and Joel, 2 sisters, Rose Godwin, and Carrie Trussell (Efrem), 2 brothers, Kenneth Studwell and Albernie Studwell,16 grandchildren, one great-grandson, and several nieces, nephews, cousins, and extended family members.
The Studwell family would like to thank the Providers, Nurses, and staff at Riverside Regional Medical Center, Fresenius Kidney Care, Heartland Hospice Team, and all the caregivers who supported and cared for our father during his time of illness. We also would like to thank our extended family and friends for the love and support shown to us all.
It is the desire of the Studwell family that you keep them in your thoughts and prayers.
