William (Billy) Eugene Sutton Sr.

William Eugene Sutton, Sr., age 86, of Cedartown, Georgia, passed away on October 5, 2024. He was born on May 15, 1938, in Cedartown, Georgia, to Homer Hoyt Sutton and Veldie Hickman Sutton.
William lived a full life, dedicated to his family and community. He was a loving father, grandfather, great-grandfather, and brother.
He is survived by his three sons, Bill Sutton Jr, Barry Sutton, and Steve Sutton; his grandchildren, Mike Sutton, Collin Sutton, and Correy Sutton; and two great-grandchildren, Hunter Sutton and Bella Sutton. He is also survived by his sister, Betty Sutton.
William is a retiree from Eby Brown (formally J.L. Lester and Sons). He was a dedicated Freemason, a veteran of the GA National Guard, an avid Golfer, and a friend to all who knew him.
William was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Jerry Carole Sutton, as well as his parents. He will be deeply missed by all.
A Celebration of Life service will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2024, from 2 pm until 4 pm at Meadow Lakes Golf and Country Club.
