William “Billy” Thomas Swanson, 71, of Albany, GA., died Monday, March 17, 2025 at Pruitt Health Sylvester. At his request, he was cremated and no formal services are scheduled at this time.
Billy was born in Fitzgerald, GA., to the late William Ralph and Ann Pearl Swanson. He worked in construction for Proctor and Gamble for 15 years and went on to spend his career in the carpentry and construction field. He enjoyed watching NASCAR and liked to fish, when his health allowed.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a sister, Jo Walker and a grandson William “Will” Scott Swanson, Jr.
Survivors include his daughter Monica Styles (Michael) and William Scott Swanson, two sisters, Bonnie Osteen and Sue Swanson, three grandchildren and one great grandchild.
