Mr. William Donald "Donnie" Taylor, age 61, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away Tuesday morning, February 24, 2026, at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation Center following a lengthy illness.

Donnie was born October 20, 1964, in Douglas, Georgia, to William Dewey Taylor and the late Betty Edna Turner Taylor. He made his career as a self-employed electrician in the construction industry where he contracted with a variety of companies all over the southeast. He was 100% Redneck! He loved the country and he loved the south. He found great joy in working out and strengthening his body through exercise. He was of the Southern Baptist faith.

Donnie leaves behind a son, Jeremy Dalott Anderson of Douglas, Georgia; a grandson, Ayden Kole Anderson of Soperton, Georgia; his father, William Dewey Taylor of Douglas, Georgia; a brother, Gregory Brett Taylor of Nicholls, Georgia; and a nephew, Jonathan Brett Taylor of Nicholls, Georgia; along with a number of extended family members.

Donnie's family will receive friends on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, from 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel. His funeral will be held on Thursday, February 26, 2026, at 11:00 AM in the Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Fender officiating. Interment will follow in Moore Cemetery in Ware County.
