FARMINGDALE - William P. Thiboutot Jr., 57, passed away peacefully on February 19, 2026, following a difficult battle with cancer, complicated by a heart valve replacement, with his wife by his side at their home in Farmingdale.

He was born in Boothbay Harbor, Maine, the son of Joanne (Fraser) and William P. Thiboutot Sr. He attended Bath schools.

Will worked in construction when he was younger but was currently employed as a Preservation Technician by Bath Iron Works.

He married his wife, Megan (McCourt) Thiboutot, in 2004 and always said she was the best thing that ever happened to him along with his three sons who made him proud.

He had a big personality with a boisterous sense of humor. He loved disc golf, bow hunting, camping at Natanis Point on Chain of Ponds, and practical jokes. He was always ready to lend a helping hand to friends and family.

He is survived by his wife, Megan; three sons Dylan Thiboutot and his partner Josh Hawley of Portland, Kyle Thayer and his partner Kiana Cookson of Augusta and Haven Thiboutot of Brunswick; his mother Joanne Kelly and stepfather Brian Kelly; two sisters, Angela Brackett and Lisa Johnson, ; two brothers, Bernie McKnight and Dustin Thiboutot and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

He was predeceased by his father.

A Celebration of Life will be held at J R Maxwell restaurant at 122 Front St. in Bath at noon on Sunday, March 1st.
