My sincere and deepest condolence for Buff & Kathie and the entire family of Terry and Dot Thrift.
I had the privilege of knowing Terry for 27 years and have the utmost respect for him and Dot. To know that Terry and Dot are now absent from the body and present with the Lord (2 Cor. 5:8) is hopefully comforting to the family. I hope to see them both again in heaven one day.

Mr. Thrift was a patient of mine for many years at Jacobs and Ramirez Allergy. He was always in a happy mood and it was a pleasure to have known him. I saw today that his beloved Dot has joined him. My condolences to their family.

Terry and Dot Thrift had to be the nicest people in the world. Such wonderful times that our families spent together. They treated us like family and know that they both are blessed with being with Jesus in heaven with all of their beloved who have gone before them.
Terry told me to believe in Jesus and I did. I praise the Lord for Terry and Dot.

Oh we just lost a wonderful and very happy man! Terry and Dot were great friends of many, but very special friends of our mom and dad, Tommie Lou and Jimmy Smith. I last saw Terry at a funeral...He was holding up a wall and joking about it..I really love that man,,,he was so gentle and kind,,,My parents have welcomed him into their special life and they are happy to be together again,,Dot I cannot be at the service. Please accept my deepest condolences. Our thoughts and prayers are with you as you celebrate Great Uncle Terry and his incredible life. I have several childhood memories of trips to San Antonio and time spent with Terry, Dot and all the Thrift family at the ranch. My uncle Joe tried to teach me how to ride one of those motorcycles Terry had there along with many other fond memories. I always had great respect for his kind demeanor, positive attitude, and calm strength that put everyone at ease. Even though our interactions were few over the years he showed me an example of what I wanted to be like when I grew up. Again we are so sorry for your loss.
