It was an honor to meet and get to know Bill Van Buren. I shared many dinners with the Van Burens and he was a gracious host, quick with a quip and kept the conversation lively. He loved his family, golf and traveling.
I will never forget him challenging Patty and me to beat his time hiking to the top of Table Rock. He was an accomplished mixologist as well.
I know that his loved ones will miss him but I am sure he will keep a watchful eye on all those he loved. My thoughts and prayers are with all of his family.

My heartfelt condolences to the Van Buren family. Always cherish the memories you have and remember that God is always there for us (1 Peter 5:6,7). I hope you continue to feel the love and support from family and friends.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.
