Lisa, I am so very sorry to hear about your Dad. There are just too many wonderful memories to list here, but one of my last one's was when we were visiting Mom many years ago and our son hit her life alert button, as it was just sitting on the nightstand and he didn't know what it was. This was back in the day of "dial up" internet. Rick was on the computer, so the phone line was busy. They couldn't get through to the house, so they called her emergency number, which was your Dad. We were outside, and here comes your Dad running full speed trying to get to Mom as quick as he could! At the same time the ambulance was turning into the circle. We didn't know what was going on. He was so out of breath, but he was determined to get to her and see if he could help! Your parents were wonderful friends and neighbors for nearly 50 years!
