William Larry Waddell

Mr. William "Larry" Waddell, 80 years old, of Greenville, South Carolina went to his heavenly home on Tuesday, November 11, 2025. Born in Greenville County, South Carolina he was son of the late William Waddell and Ruby Taylor Waddell and attended the public schools of Greenville County. After graduation Larry went on to further his education at Greenville Technical College followed by a bachelor's degree from the College of William & Mary in Williamsburg, Virginia.
He answered the call of his country and enlisted in the United States Navy, receiving the National Defense Service Medal along with an honorable discharge in 1968.
It was the early part of 1969 he began his employment journey at Roane Barker, a local medical supply company and as they grew from Caligor to Henry Schein as a member of the Sales Support Team, he was known as the "Product Wizard"! He had a great love for studying product catalogs and collaborating with vendor representatives to find anything and everything! He enjoyed supporting the sales team all over the United States as well as the inside representatives and his team for more than fifty years. He was an avid Carolina Gamecock football fan but was always up to watching any football game!
He is survived by his two sons, Justin Waddell of Greer, South Carolina and Tyler (Elizabeth)Waddell and his grandson Max all of Pittsburg, Pennsylvania; his brother Randy Waddell and many beloved cousins and nephews.
He will be greatly missed by his immediate family, his extended family at Henry Schein along with his resolute caregivers and a host of others who loved Larry dearly.
A Memorial Service will be held virtually at 3:00 p.m., on Sunday, November 23, 2025
