You may have passed from this world, but you will remain in my heart forever. I would do anything to be able to say goodbye. To have one more conversation. To give you one more hug. I will hold on to the memories of you until we see each other again.
I love you, Grandpa

Dad, your sudden death has left a void in my heart and yet there is also a peace in knowing you have finally been reunited with Mom who left us so long ago. You were a father that could create something out of nothing. As a child your strength was immeasurable to me and as an adult it was one I tried to emulate. My mind still wants to talk to you, my heart is aching for you but my soul knows you are at peace. It snowed just a little on Saturday and that is when I knew without a doubt that you were in heaven. You always loved the snow falling and how poignant that your first day in heaven it snowed. Goodbye Dad, until we see each other again. I love you,
Stephanie
