WILLIAM WEED Obituary
William was born September 16, 1953, in Lock Haven to the late Charles E and Eleanor Bitner Weed. He was a graduate of the Mansfield Junior-Senior High School and Williamsport Area Community College. He had worked at Brodart in Williamsport and at the Goodwill in the Williamsport, retiring from the STEP office in Williamsport.
Survivors include a sister, Brenda (David) Kohler of Middlebury Center and three nieces: Danielle (Travis) Pifer, Alexandria (Ian) Keck and Brooke (Brandon) Webster; two great nieces, Kennedy and Karsyn Keck and two great nephews, Maximus and Crosby Pifer.
He was predeceased by his parents, a sister, Sonya Weed, and a brother, Stephen Weed.
Private services and Interment will be at Mt. Bethel Cemetery at the convenience of the family.
Funeral arrangements for William D Weed are under the direction of the Gedon Funeral Home and Cremation Services LLC, 121 West Main Street, Lock Haven.

I went to school in Mansfield with Bill, and graduated with him in the Class of 1972 from Mansfield High School. Bill was a kind and gentle person, always with a smile on his face. I'm sorry that I didn't ever have a chance to reconnect with him over the years.
