William Wilber Obituary
Bill grew up in Jersey City, NJ, attending nearby Marist High School. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Wisconsin.
Bill went onto a career as a Research and Development Chemist at companies such as Rohm and Haus, BFGoodrich, and Noveon, filing various patents over the years.
Bill was known for his work ethic, amazing memory, passion for knowledge, unique sense of humor and penchant for breaking into song (sometimes even in tune). He valued family and was a devoted son and brother as well as an involved father. He will be missed and fondly remembered.
In keeping with his wishes, no formal services will be held. Donations in memory of William R. Wilber may be made to the Macular Degeneration Association ( https://macularhope.org) or the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (https://giving.mit.edu)
