William V. Wilburn Obituary
Mr. William V. "Bill" Wilburn, age 82 of 115 Lancaster Dr., Union, widower of Renee Davis Wilburn, passed away Tuesday, January 9, 2024 at Spartanburg Regional Hospice Home.
Mr. Wilburn was born in Union, July 26, 1941, a son of the late Clarence Lamar Wilburn and Grace Brannon Wilburn. He was a former auto mechanic and heavy equipment operator. Mr. Wilburn loved dirt-track car racing and was a race car driver for many years. He was a member of Brown's Creek Baptist Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Lori Sprouse and husband Bob of Buffalo and Cindy Arthur of Union; a son, Jake Wilburn of the home; and a sister Clemmie Gentry and husband David of Union. He is also survived by grandchildren, Patty Brannon and husband Kyle, Danny Grady and wife Jesse, Jimmy Arthur, Erin Sprouse and Maci Sprouse; and great grandchildren, Steven Revis, Michael Revis, Alia Arthur, Aubrey Arthur, Austyn Grady and Hayes Grady. He was predeceased by a sister, Reba House and three brothers, Broadus Wilburn, Wayne "Bones" Wilburn and Jerry Wilburn.
Graveside services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, January 13, 2024 at Brown's Creek Baptist Church Cemetery conducted by Rev. Dr. Shawn Head. Visitation will be held at the graveside immediately following the services.
Active pallbearers will be Jonathan Adams, D.J. Long, Michael Brewington, Kevin Garner, Donnie Williams and Adam Caudill.

The family will be at the home, 115 Lancaster Dr., Union.
