William Wayne Williams, 70, of Sedalia, MO, passed away on Friday, February 28, 2025, at his home in Sedalia. He was born on April 26, 1954, in Whittier, CA, the son of Johnny Williams and Geneva (Thompson) Williams, who preceded him in death.
On August 2, 1974, in Green Forest, AR, he was united in marriage to Diana Renee Williams, who resides in the home.
Bill started working for Tysons in 1987 in Arkansas and moved his family to Missouri to help open the Sedalia Tyson plant. Bill took great pride in his professional career. He retired after 36 years. Bill was passionate about golf, hunting, shooting guns, reloading bullets, leather working, and listening to rock and roll, but mostly watching his grandsons grow into young men.
In addition to his wife, Bill is survived by a son, Kelly Williams (Tonya) of Phoenix City, AL; a daughter, Sarah Grose (Kevin) of Sedalia; three grandsons, Tyler Williams (Caitlyn) of Warrensburg, MO, Trey Williams of Sedalia, and Hunter Grose, of Sedalia; a brother, Mark Williams of Waco, TX; two sisters, LaQuita Romas of Lubbock, TX and Glenda Humbard of Green Forest, AR; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
A celebration of life gathering with family and friends will be held at a later date.
Arrangements are in the care of Rea Funeral Chapel.
