William Winter Obituary

He was born on September 15, 1940 in Williamsport and was the son of the late Edward and Esther (Brewer) Winter. He had driven taxi for Bill Towne Cab and retired in 2003. Bill enjoyed riding motorcycles and watching football, especially Penn State and the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Bill is survived by two sons; William P. Winter, Jr. of Williamsport and Rodney E. Winter of Montandon, one daughter; Stephanie Ziegenfuss (Larry) of Leesburg, FL, four grandchildren; William P. Winter, III, Latrinda Winter, Samantha Winter and Zachary Ziegenfuss and four great-grandchildren. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers; Kenneth, Fred and Donald Winter and one sister; Nina Winter.
In keeping with his wishes, services will be private at the convenience of the family.
Arrangements are being handled by Maneval Allen Redmond Funeral Home, 500 W. 4th St., Williamsport.
