Hi, I am one of three brothers who served in Vietnam. Thank you William for your service.
My grand daughter, Alyssa and I install U.S. Flags at Middletown Veteran Cemetary every Memorial Day and Veterans Day. We read each name and then place the flag.
We then choose one veteran and reach out to their family to let them know we appreciate his service for our country. God bless you all.

I was a baseball teammate of Bill's at HPHS in the mid 1960s and later on in the Greater Hartford Twilight League. I have so many fond memories of playing ball with Bill that it is hard to know where to begin. He was a great pitcher and hitter at HPHS, really the linch pin of our team. In his junior year, Bill was the only pitcher we had and he took the ball game after game(there was no such thing as pitch counts back then!). It was an amazing show of stamina and courage. After our high school days and Bill's stint in the marines, we became teammates again on a new team in the Greater Hartford Twilight League that I founded and managed. It took us a few years, but soon we became the best team in the league, winning back to back regular season championships. Bill was a key member of those teams and on a few occasions when I missed games, Bill stepped in as acting manager. I often relied on his advice and opinions. He was a good baseball man. Bill obviously loved the game and remained active in the GHTBBL for many years. My sincere condolences to Bill's family and friends. RIP Wish! Those were some great times we had together.

I know Billy and his sister Pat would not remember me, but I was a classmate of Billy's at Elmwood Elementary School, where he defended me against the bullies, when I couldn't run fast in gym class ! Pat and I were in Brownies ( Girl Scouts ) together, and she was kind to me as well. My deepest sympathies to the Family, and if Pat is reading this, I would love to hear from you ! My E-mail is [email protected], AND MY TELE # IS 718 275-0042

God Bless,
