William "Bill" Wray

Bill was my roommate during US Navy Training. We had many a laugh and good time. He traveled home with me for Christmas one year in New Jersey. He was a stand up guy. He will be missed.

I just learned of Bills passing today 01/31/2021 I met bill here in San Diego while he was still in the Navy ,we kept in to keep fo a few years after he returned home but lost touch some years ago .I've tried to find him over the years on face book until today when I googled him and found his obituary .I've been missing him for years! I still keep the letters he wrote me while he was overseas on the ship and the wrapper from the bouquet of flowers he gave me day he left for home . Odd I know . But he left a huge impression on me and I cherish those memories still . There's always been a place in my heart for Bill and now that place is a hole . My sincere condolences to his family and friends, today is a very sad day !

My deepest sympathies to the entire Family. I will always cherish my memories of Bill full of life and the fun times we had.
From the fire works in my front yard when he got out of the Navy to the neighborhood Bar-B-Qs we had almost every weekend. Steve and Brother Bill were a big part of my life and I will miss them forever. I am grateful to have shared my life with such a loving family. I find comfort in knowing he is no longer in pain and with the ones who have gone before us. God bless you all and keep you at this difficult time. May he rest in peace.
