William S. "Bill" Yanesh

1937 - 2023

William S. "Bill" Yanesh, passed away peacefully on August 1, 2023 surrounded by family. He was born in Wickliffe, on June 18, 1937, to the late John and Edna Yanesh (Beifus). He married the love of his life Angela H. Yanesh (Chinnici) on February 15, 1958 and over the next 46 years they raised their family in Wickliffe. He was a devoted and loving husband, father, grandfather, and great-grandfather, who will be greatly missed by many. He was a proud member of AA for 45 years. Bill owned and operated Yanesh Brothers Construction for 50 years. In his free time, he was an avid Cleveland sports fan. William is survived by his children William S. "Billy" Yanesh Jr. (Colleen), Chuck Yanesh Sr. (MaryAnn), and Wendy Fishwick (Michael), grandchildren Katie Yanesh, William Yanesh III (Rebecca Talisman), Jessica Yanesh (Jon Portyrata), Charlie Yanesh Jr. (Alina), Ryan Yanesh, Brandon Yanesh (Alexandra), Nicholas Yanesh (Kayli), Joseph Fishwick, Jennifer Zbasnik (Joseph), and Jonathan Fishwick, great grandchildren Dean, Gina, Lucia, Stevie Jo, sister Christine Gatzios. He also leaves behind his companion Marilyn Gallese and a host of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother John C. Yanesh. Friends and family to gather and celebrate the life of Bill on Friday, August 4, 2023 from 3pm to 7pm at Monreal Funeral Home, 35400 Curtis Blvd., Eastlake. A Funeral Service will be held at 7pm also at the funeral home.
