DR. WILLIE ACHEBE Obituary
We are gathered here today to honor and celebrate the life of Dr. Professor Willie Chukuma Achebe. He was a loving parent, devoted spouse, loyal friend, caring and supportive son, brother and uncle along with being an open ear to many, and his presence in our lives will be deeply missed.
Professor Achebe's legacy will live on through his wife Ifeoma Achebe, his 4 kids Francisca Achebe, Chinedu Achebe, Chukwuma Achebe, Ijeoma Achebe and his 2 Grandsons, Chukwuemeka Achebe and Chidozie Achebe. From his responsibilities as a father to his acts as a Philanthropist, his works as Founder of PCNI San Antonio Chairman of People's Club Nigeria and a dedicated Professor of master's level courses in business, accounting and economics of over 25 years. Professor Achebe was born in Ofenachi Umuduna, Abagana in Njikaoka local Gov. Anambra State, Nigeria on April 19, 1935. His love of teaching started early in his life with tutoring children in math in preparing them for the entrance exam to gain admission into high school in Nigeria. He later went on to receiving his PhD in Accounting and Finance. He headed a non-profit to help people in need. He has left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who knew him, and his memory will continue to inspire and guide us in the times ahead.
As we say goodbye to Professor Achebe let us remember the joy he brought into our lives and the lessons he taught us. Though his physical presence may be gone, his spirit will always be with us, guiding us and watching over us. We take comfort in knowing that Professor Achebe is at peace, and that his memory will continue to live on in our hearts forever.
