Mr. Willie Frank Anderson, affectionately known as "Wild Willie," transitioned to eternal rest on March 9, 2026, at the age of 76. Willie was born on March 2, 1950, to the late Ollie Frank and Emma Sue Anderson in the cherished town of
Munford, Alabama.
A devoted follower of Christ, Willie professed his faith at an early age and became a beloved member of Shady Grove Baptist Church, where he nurtured his spiritual growth and community ties. He was a bright star, known for his exceptional talents on the baseball field, having played a significant role in shaping the young players of the Jenifer Giants, contributing to their triumphant victory in the 1967 Little League Baseball Championship in Anniston, Alabama.
Willie eventually moved to New Jersey, where he dedicated his career to Marangee Waste Management until his well-deserved retirement. Throughout his life, he proudly embraced many roles: loving husband, devoted father, cherished grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and loyal friend. Willie's legacy will forever shine brightly through the hearts of his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him.
He is preceded in death by his beloved daughter, Kim, parents, Ollie Frank and Emma Sue Anderson, as well as brothers, Raymond, Ronell "Fathead," and Cleophas, and sisters, Mildred, Shirley, and Loretta "Lady." Welcoming him into the eternal embrace of their love are the many family members who have gone before him.
Willie leaves behind a beloved daughter, Terri; granddaughters Shonna, Tia, and Toya; and great-grandchildren Kyrie and Layla, all of New Jersey. He is also survived by sisters, Mary Ann Sistrunk of Anniston, Alabama, and Delois Willis and Emma Jean Calloway of Chicago, Illinois, as well as brothers, Eddie (Georgetta), Erskine, and Victor "Lukey" of
Munford, Alabama.
