Willie A Booth

Rev. Willie A. Booth, 83, of Lancaster, Ohio took his final flight at 12:40pm, March 4, 2026, surrounded by his loving family.

Willie was born on March 5, 1943 to the late Alton and Nancy Booth in Dingess, WV.

Willie was welcomed home to heaven by his parents, 4 sisters, 3 brothers. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 64 years, Ora. His 2 devoted daughters, Anita Booth, Lancaster, Ohio and Nikki (Mike) Curry, Wayne, WV. Also survived by 2 sisters, Jewell Belcher, Verdunville, WV, Gail Marcum, Dingess, WV.

Willie made his decision to serve the Lord on September 13, 1967. From that day on his goal was to lead the lost to Christ.

Willie was a youth leader at Gahanna F.W.B. Church, Gahanna, Ohio for a time before moving and becoming Pastor of Ambassador F.W.B. Church in Cincinnati, Ohio for 11 years. Then moving to Lancaster, Ohio in 1983 and becoming Pastor of Open Door, F.W.B. where he presently Pastored.

He will be sadly missed and forever loved by his extended family, many friends and his church family.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 7, 2026 from 12pm until 2pm at Open Door Free Will Baptist Church, 3820 Cincinnati- Zanesville Rd SW, Lancaster, Ohio 43130. The service will immediately follow the visitation with interment at Green Mound Cemetery, Lancaster, Ohio. Services entrusted to Taylor-Theller Funeral Home, Amanda, Ohio.
