Funeral service for Mr. Willie F. Clevenger, 83 of Oxford, will be held at 2:00 pm on Wednesday, May 25, 2022, at Anniston Memorial Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12:00 pm until time of the service at the funeral home. Burial will follow the service in Anniston Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Clevenger passed away on Monday, May 23, 2022, at RMC in Anniston. He is preceded in death by his wife, Helen Clevenger; parents, Chamblee Clevenger, and Mable Pinson Clevenger; and his brother, Clarence Clevenger.
He leaves behind his wife, Diane Clevenger; sons, Danny Clevenger and Doug Clevenger (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Brandi Clevenger, Heather Ratliff (Jerry), Allen Clevenger (Jessica), Trisha Clevenger (Gavin Wells) Megan Clevenger (Josh Howell) and Brittany Fenton (Chad); great grandchildren, William Clevenger, Maddi Wells, Kayleigh Clevenger, Haley Wells, Braxton Williams, Clanton Clevenger, Haylee Ratliff, Ansley Wells and Kholton Williams; brother, Orliss Clevenger (Kim); and several nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers will be Josh Howell, Chad Fenton, Allen Clevenger, Gavin Wells, Kevin Horton, and Jerry Ratliff.
Mr. Clevenger was a member of Sunrise Baptist Church. He loved to cut grass with his John Deere lawn mower and go Brim fishing. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather and will always be missed.
