Mr. Willie DeWayne Dublin

Graveside Services for Mr. Willie Dewayne Dublin, son of the late Willie Dale Simpkins and Etta Dublin, will be held 2:00 pm Thursday, May 25, 2023 at the Cedar Grove Baptist Church, where the Rev. David Colvin is Pastor. The Rev. Dequan Smith will officiate. Viewing will be 11:00 am - 6:00 pm at the Amos & Sons Funeral Home.
Mr. Willie DeWayne Dublin was born August 5, 1984, in Edgefield County, SC. He was the son of the late Willie Dale Simpkins and Etta Dublin. He departed this earthly life on May 19, 2023, at Edgefield County Healthcare.
He was educated in the Edgefield County School District. He attended Strom Thurmond High School.
Following high school, he worked briefly at several jobs. Landscaping proved to be one of his enduring forms of employment.
Those who will cherish his memories are: his mother, Etta Dublin, Johnston, SC; siblings, Rebecca Dublin, Johnston, SC and Kristin Simpkins, Edgefield, SC; aunts and uncles, Steven Simpkins, George Simpkins, and Katie Williams (Michael) all of Edgefeld, SC, Sheila Talbert (Johnny), McCormick, SC, and Delcina Simpkins, North Augusta, SC, Mary Ella Jones(Willie), Johnston, SC, Patricia Smith, Trenton, SC, Freddie Dublin, Ward, SC, Leonard Dublin, Edgefield, SC, Willie Dublin (Daisy), Johnston,SC, Clarence Weaver (Angela), Tina Weaver, Patricia Dublin, Willie Mae Weaver and Marion Weaver all of Johnston, SC; sixteen nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
