Willie James Ervin

Throughout Willie James Ervin life, he made significant contributions to higher education and the ministry, as a pastor. The students and Willie´s church members are most grateful for his contributions to their careers. In these roles, he shared his knowledge, wisdom and experiences with them on a wide variety of American experiencesand religious cultures. As an educator, Willie played a pivotal role in shaping the minds and perspectives of countless students, fostering a love of learning and understanding a deeper level of societal issues. Gloria and I are praying to keep the family uplifted in peace, spiritual strength and love for each other. Remember, "to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord."

Throughout Willie James Ervin´s entire professional life, he made significant contributions to higher education and the ministry as a pastor. Personally, I did not know Willie, but became knowledge of him from talking to his dear sister, Reverend Dr. Rondie Thomas. I learned from her, that his students and church members are most grateful for his contribution of knowledge, wisdom and experiences. As an educator, Willie played a pivotal role in shaping the minds and perspectives of countless students for over more than 20 years. He increased their mental capacity to learn, a love for learning, and a deeper understanding of societal issues. Gloria and I are praying for understanding, peace and spiritual strength for Willie´s family, friend, and others that knew him. But always remember, to be absent from the body is to be present with the Lord. Gloria and I will keep the family uplifted in our prayers. God bless!!
