Willie Everett Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Turner Funeral Home - Waynesboro on Feb. 10, 2026.
TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 18, 1958 was the day a baby boy who would be named WILLIE TERRY EVERETT was born to the union of the late Mr. Raymond Everett and Ms. Zella Wayne Davis. He graduated from Waynesboro Central High School in 1977. He was formerly employed with Sunbeam (also known as the Blanket Factory) for many years. To many of his friends, he was affectionately known as "Li'l Head." Fishing and working outside in the yard were his main interests, along with football and basketball. He didn't have a favorite sports team; he just enjoyed the action of the games.

Most importantly, he loved his family.

His memories will be enshrined in love with his two daughters: Marshae (James) Lee of Millry, AL and Raquel Everett of Waynesboro, MS; two sons: Willie R. (Shakenia) Everett of Gulfport, MS and Michai Everett of Waynesboro, MS; a stepdaughter he helped raise: Ver'daleeza Russell of Milwaukee, WI; three sisters: Debra Johnson, Annie (Terry) Lancaster, and Montaesha Davis all of Waynesboro, MS; four brothers: Curtis (Elaine) Davis, Kenneth (Curly) Davis, Rayme Everett, and Delynn (Edna) Everett, all of Waynesboro, MS; four stepsisters: Janet Smith, Annette Patterson, Bettie Lang, and Dorothy (Robert) Henry, all of Waynesboro, MS; two stepbrothers: Curtis Pray and Bobby Carlisle also of Waynesboro, MS; a special friend, Shirley Everett Dixon, a special cousin: Nagerald Blakely; six grandsons four granddaughters, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

In addition to his parents, Willie is preceded in death by two sisters: Verna Morgan and Alma Robinson, a stepbrother: Milton West, and a grandson, Amadre Everett.

Funeral services will be held Friday, February 13, 2026 at 1:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home, with Ronnie Dell Pettus as the eulogist. Interment will follow at Serenity Gardens. Mr. Everett's viewing period will occur Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 4:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Turner Funeral Home.
