Willie Henry Gray 70, of Abilene passed away Sunday May 14, 2023 in Abilene, TX. Memorial Services will be held June 3, 2023 at 11am at North's Funeral Home Chapel.
Willie was born December 21, 1952 in Abilene, TX to Hazel Gray and Charles Gray. Willie received his primary education from Abilene public schools. After High School he started a career in the auto industry. Willie was a mechanic and he loved working on cars. In his spare time he loved going to the Races, playing dominoes and spending time with his family.
Willie was preceded in death by mother Hazel Smith-Gray, father Charles Gray, brother Charles Gray, and niece Lasandra Johnson.
Left to cherish his memories are: children: Tasha Woodard (Charlie Williams) of Austin, Diamond Gray of Georgia, Jackie Linus of Hurst, TX. Temperance Battee of Maryland, Chauncey Battee of Maryland, Willie Gray Jr. of Abilene, Myron Britt of Abilene, Brandon Powell of Abilene, Numerous granchildren, 2 great-grandchildren. Siblings; Linda Gray of Abilene, Diane Johnson(Edmond) of Abilene, Billy Gray (Debbie) of Topeka KS, John Gray (Mary) of Topeka KS, Jimmy Gray of Topeka KS. 3 Special Cousins Claudia Burns, Jazi(Randy) Ross, Tasia(Jermery) Cummings step-sister Margaret Mumford (Clarence) of Abilene, step brother Wilbert Battles,one aunt one uncle and a host of extended family and many friends.
