WILLIE ROY JACKSON

Willie Roy Jackson, a skilled roofer, passed away on April 30, 2024, in his hometown of Dallas, Texas. Born on June 10, 1940, in the same vibrant city where he breathed his last, Willie's life was a testament to hard work, dedication, and a deep love for his family and community.

Known for his infectious energy and zest for life, Willie was a man who embraced every moment with enthusiasm. His vibrant personality shone through in everything he did; from expertly tending to roofs during his career to lighting up the dance floor with his smooth moves. Willie truly met no stranger and had a way of making everyone feel welcomed and valued.

Above all else, Willie held his family dear to his heart. His proudest accomplishments revolved around the love and support he provided to his loved ones. Whether it was offering words of wisdom or sharing joyful moments together, Willie's presence brought warmth and comfort to those around him.

As friends and family gather to bid farewell to Willie Roy Jackson, they are invited to remember the joy he brought into their lives. A Prayer Service will be held at Golden Gate Funeral Home-Dallas on May 10, 2024 at 7:15 - 8:15pm, followed by a Funeral Service at PLEASANT HILLS M.B.C. on May 11, 2024 - 12:00 noon.  These services offer an opportunity for all who knew Willie to come together and celebrate the remarkable life he lived.
