Willie Layne Obituary
Willie Lea Wofford was born March 23, 1933 in Sallisaw, Oklahoma to Matt and Flora (Richardson) Wofford.
She married James "Jim" Lindsey Layne on September 15, 1962. Willie worked for the State of Oklahoma as a Care Worker.
Willie was preceded in death by her parents, Matt and Flora Wofford; as well as three brothers, Fonce Wofford, Leland Wofford, and Phillip Wofford.
She is survived by her two children, David Moss and Mary Emmer; three grandchildren, Laur Emmer, Marshall Emmer, and Jenifer Jackson; several great grandchildren; and one sister, Wilma Griggs.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 8, 2025 at 1:00 pm with Graveside Services at the McGee Cemetery in Stratford officiated by Eddie Dye. Interment will be at McGee Cemetery under the direction of Stufflebean-Coffey Funeral Home.
