Mr. Willie Miller III, the son of Mr. Willie Miller Jr. and Betty Jean Jackson Miller, was born and raised in the Greenland community of Jacksonville, Florida. Willie Miller III received his early education in Duval County Public Schools and later graduated from Samuel W. Wolfson High School. Willie Miller III joined the US Army Reserves and served over 16 years

of service to his country. On May 15, 1977, Willie Miller III (Poppa) met and started dating the love of his life, Rose

Marie Bailey (Sweets). After 5 years of dating, they got married and vowed to love each other all the days of their lives. Willie Miller III (Poppa) and Rose Marie Bailey (Sweets) shared 48 amazing and loving years together. Mr. Willie Miller III made his transition on Friday September 5, 2025. He was preceded in death by his father, Willie Miller Jr, his father-in-law, Johnnie Bailey and his brother, Kirby Donnell Miller.

He leaves to cherish his legacy his loyal and devoted wife, Rose Marie Miller (Sweets), his daughter, LaChara Miller Parsons, his son, Willie Miller IV (Kimberly), 6 grandchildren, Terrick Buckholtz (Alexandra), JaNayasia Parsons, Amya Miller, Zaydrian White, Jada Miller, and Samariya Jynes, his mother, Mrs. Betty Jean Miller, his mother-in-law, Myra J Bailey, two sisters, Shirley Miller Tyson and Cynthia Miller, two sister-in-laws, Ramona Bailey(Tom) and Degra Miller( DeeDee), one brother-in-law, Johnnie Bailey Jr(J2), three aunties, Catherine Buggs, Mary Jane Gamble and Mary Humphrey, four nephews, Harry Tyson Jr, Kirby Miller Jr, Israel Hills III and Denzel Miller, four nieces, Cylia Bailey, Jacquelyn Bailey(Laura), Ariel Davis and Justina Bailey, one god-daughter, Breanna McClendon and a host of devoted cousins, relatives, and friends.
