He was a member of Zion Baptist Church, Inc., and a U. S. Army veteran.
He is survived by his wife, Yvonne Blakey Parker; children, Raneca L. Parker, Tracy N. Parker, and DeVante L. Parker; 4 great-grandchildren; siblings, Lametta Johnson, Maxine Cull (Jeff), Shelley Campbell, Alicia Parker, Lloyd Parker, Anthony Parker (Joe), and Cathy Patterson, and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Visitation: 10am-12pm Saturday, December 20, 2025 at Zion Baptist Church, Inc. 2200 W. Muhammad Ali Blvd., funeral service to follow at 12pm, burial in Highland Memory Gardens.
Arrangements entrusted to A. D. Porter & Sons Funeral Home, 1300 W. Chestnut St.
