It is with our heartfelt condolences-the administration and staff of Whipple and Allen Funeral Home Inc. announce the passing of Reverend Willie T. Strange Sr. of Toomsboro Georgia. Reverend Strange transition to eternal rest on June 28, 2025, at Atrium Health Navicent Baldwin. Services will be held on Thursday, July 10, 2025, at 1:00 pm from Jordan Stream Baptist Church on 17105 GA Hwy-112 Toomsboro GA. Visitation will be at the residence 242 Club Rd. Toomsboro GA. from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. Public Visitation/Viewing will be on Wednesday July-9th from 12:00pm until 6:00 pm at Whipple and Allen Chapel 132 Manson St. Toomsboro GA.

Reverend Strange is survived by two sons Willie T. Strange Jr. of Toomsboro GA, Dexter R. Strange Sr. of Macon GA. two sisters Essie L. Strange Daniels (Nathaniel) and Elizabeth Strange all of Toomsboro GA. Five sisters-in-law Laner Strange of Toomsboro, Georgia; Mary Kemp Strange, and Carolyn Whipple Strange, both of Irwinton, GA, Ola Bell Hightower and Geneva Hightower of Milledgeville, Georgia. Four brothers-in-law James Foreman of Toomsboro, GA, Harrison Hurt (Willie Mae) and William Hurt (Ruby), both of Milledgeville, GA. One aunt Sarah Carswell of Pittsburgh PA. Three uncles Jasper Carswell of Miami, Florida; Ivey Carswell (Evelyn) of Summerville, South Carolina; and William Carswell of Seattle, Washington. Four grandchildren Trexlux K. Strange, Brisheonna Thomas, Dexter R. Strange Jr. and Gabbriel Strange. As well as four great-grandchildren. There are a host of nieces and nephews and other family members.
