I was privileged to know Wilma as a dear friend and mentor in the Christian faith. Wilma is a true servant of our Heavenly Father. She touched many lives with her compassion and love for other people. Wilma enjoyed extending kindness and hospitality and was always seeking opportunities to bless her family, friends, and neighbors. Like others, her life had its challenges, but she met them with the courage, strength and determination that can only come from a heart filled with the overflowing love, joy, and power of the Holy Spirit. Wilma loved her Lord Jesus Christ, and she would often share valuable insights into His Word when we would gather for ladies“ Bible study. Wilma was a faithful prayer warrior who believed with all her heart in the power of our Heavenly Father to transform lives. I believe the following Scripture describes the life of Wilma quite well: "Strength and dignity are her clothing, and she laughs at the time to come. She opens her mouth with wisdom, and the teaching of kindness is on her tongue. She looks well to the ways of her household and does not eat the bread of idleness...Charm is deceitful and beauty is vain, but a woman who fears the LORD is to be praised." (Proverbs 31:25-30) Wilma has deeply impacted my life, and I will miss her very much, but I am comforted in the knowledge that she is with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ and I will see her again.
