Wilma Jean Stephens, 88, of Johnstown, passed away July 22, 2024. She was born August 27, 1935 to the late Rev. James H. and Olive (Dillow) Boggs. 

After attending Waverly High School, she married Sandy Culwell. Wilma was the head housekeeper at National Health Care and later was a supervisor for 12 years. She later married Woodrow Stephens after Sandy's passing. Wilma enjoyed traveling to the beach but most importantly, spending time with her family. 

She will be deeply missed by her daughter Barbara J. Rider; grandchildren Steve (Jenny) Rider, Kevin (Melissa) Rider; great-grandchildren Devin, Alyssa, Russell, Daisha, Westley; sister Fay Brooks; brothers Bernard (Debbie) Boggs, Timothy (Linda) Boggs, along with many other family and friends. 

Wilma was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. James and Olive Boggs; first husband Sandy Culwell, second husband Woodrow Stephens; siblings Ronald Boggs, Phyllis Strand, Sandra Tackett and James Boggs Jr. 

Visitation will be Tuesday, July 30, 2024 from 10am until the time of service at 11am at Newcomer NE Chapel 3047 E. Dublin Granville Rd. Columbus with Pastor Frank Kirk officiating. 

Burial will follow at Fairmount Cemetery in Jackson, OH.
