Winifred Mary "Win" (Irby) Davis, 87, passed away February 10, 2026, in New Braunfels.

Born January 26, 1939, in Corpus Christi to Joseph R. Irby and Winifred Colesworthy Irby, she grew up in West University Place. She attended University of Texas at Austin and was a member of Alpha Gamma Delta. Win spent her entire career as a dedicated legal secretary.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Jo Brayshaw and husband Lynn M. Brayshaw II; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, John E. Davis, and her sons, Robert E. Robinson, Jr. and Jerald W. Milton.

Known as "Win" to friends and "Momo" to her grandchildren, she loved life on Lake Travis, her schnauzers, bowling, Texas Hold'em, traveling, and walking. A devoted Texas sports fan, she was a proud season ticket holder of the Houston Texans.

Her ashes will be placed beside her husband in Remembrance Gardens on Lake Travis in the spring. Date and time to be announced.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association for dementia research.

Winifred Mary was my cousin. Her father was my Uncle. The one remembrance of I have of her was when I was 10 years of age and she took me to a popular skating rink in Houston and taught me how to roller skate. It was one of my most popular sports. She was a good woman and a fine mother. God rest in peace Winifred. Kathy Hewitt Gelsomino

Winifred Mary was our cousin who babysat for us and made all my outfits for school programs. She also made me dresses and took me to her high school home economic class to let me model them. I dont remember since I was about the same age when this picture was taken. Winifred Mary holding me and my sister Kathy standing.
Later I got to babysit for Mary Jo, Robbie and Jerry.
Time passed but we reconnected a few years ago and shared memories which I know we both enjoyed.
So happy you are with your boys now and watching over Mary Jo and her beautiful family
Love, Margaret
