Winona M. "Nona" Williams, age 75, entered the loving arms of her Lord and Savior on Saturday, November 8, 2025 at Riverside Hospital.
On April 30, 1950 Nona was born in Marion, Ohio. The daughter of the late Robert Rue and Virginia Irene (Eby) Huston. Nona received her education from Marion Harding High School and graduated with the class of 1969. On November 3, 1968 Nona married her soulmate Ronald Louis Williams. The loving couple share 33 marvelous years before Ronald's passing in November 21, 2001.
Family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent surrounded by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. Whether it was a lively game of cards or a craft project spread across the dining room table, Nona's home was always a place of fun, warmth, and togetherness.
Holidays were her special time to shine. She planned every detail with care, poured love into every dish, and made sure everyone left her table full and happy. Her famous potato salad was a family favorite, a simple yet unforgettable symbol of the love she shared so generously.
Nona also had a deep passion for sports. No matter the season or the team, she could be found cheering with excitement, whether it was football, basketball, or golf. Her enthusiasm was contagious, and she brought the same spirit of joy and energy to everything she did.
In her quieter afternoons, Nona found comfort and delight in her favorite soap operas, especially General Hospital.
Left to cherish her memory is her beloved sister, Robin McKinniss; grandchildren: Sydnee Golden, Spencer Golden, Kaitlyn (Daniel) Arseneau, Casey Williams, Tim Williams Jr., and Ronnie Williams; great-grandchildren: Shane Jones, Shauna Jones, Parker Arseneau, Reagan Arseneau; nephew: Richard (Tina) Williams; and niece, Heather (Steve) Harford.
In addition to her parents and husband, Nona was preceded death by her children: Shane M. Williams, Timothy Williams, and Michelle Williams; and brothers: Michael Huston and Jack Huston.
Visitation will be 11AM-1PM on Friday, November 14, 2025 at Snyder Funeral Homes, GUNDER/HALL; 347 W. Center St., Marion, OH 43302. Funeral Ceremony will follow at 1PM with Pastor David Rush, officiating. Immediately following the Graveside Service will be at Grand Prairie Cemetery.
